There’s just something about it which makes me feel like I’m straight out of or a renaissance painting or my favourite childhood movie, The Swan Princess (bring back memories anyone?)
Shona Joy would have to be one of my favourite Australian brands and I love the classic cut, fabric and print of this dress. Who knew that a balloon sleeve reminiscent of the eighties could be done so well?
However, since the world has turned upside down, I’m making the most of wearing it before winter sets in. I particularly love wearing it with these Bared Footwear sandals. I recently discovered their brand through a friend and I fell in love with them. Made by a podiatrist who saw a much needed gap in the market they are some of the most comfortable shoes I’ve worn that don’t skimp on style. I’m definitely eyeing off a few more of the flats and heels in their collection. I also love how they are a small Australian brand and who are taking steps on the social and environmental front as well which you can read about here. They are definitely a brand I can get behind.
I would love to know, how do you like this recent trend?
What’s your style?
*PS this post is not sponsored, I just really love this outfit and these brands.

This style looks great on you, Bridie! It’s such a timeless design and I love that it has such a classic print. I feel that clothing pieces that you can wear for different occasions always get more use out of them – versatility for the win!

Thank so much for your kind words Adie! I couldn’t agree more – versatility is everything in clothing!
