Happy 2022 everyone!

I can’t believe how quickly the end of this year crept up on me. I hope that you had a beautiful Christmas and and that the next 365 days are filled with joy and happiness.

Speaking of 2022, I actually have some exciting news to share with you all (and why it’s been a bit quieter here over the past few weeks). My husband and I are….(*drum roll*)…moving to the UK early this year. Yep, you heard it correctly. We. Are. Moving. Overseas!!!

I am so excited about this big life transition, can you tell I’m excited? I’ve been to Europe a few times in the past and had the best time so I’m really looking forward to this amazing experience and the opportunities that it will bring.

While i’ll continue to bring you content from over there, given how much there is to do (a lot of packing, paperwork and farewells) between now and us leaving, I may have to scale back my blog posts back to every fortnight, just until we get over there and get ourselves settled. I hope you can understand. But I’m really looking forward to sharing some winter wardrobe content over the coming months and the updates that I make to my wardrobes to meet the practical demands of living in a colder climate (something tells me my Sydney winter wardrobe isn’t quite going to cut it). If you have any winter wardrobe tips I’d love to hear them in the comments below.

Now, onto this outfit, which is still firmly in the summer content category. I do love a good jumpsuit in summer (as you can see here, here and here) and bonus points if its linen. Like a dress, it’s one of those easy to wear all-in-one pieces which you can simply throw on with a few  accessories and I particularly love the pin stripe and button detailing on this one. I also like how a piece like this can be styled with a pair of flats for the day time (such as these Nisolo flats) or a pair of heels, as I have here, to transition them into a smart casual evening look. I can also picture it fitting in perfectly against the tuscan red brick of an Italian summer or along the French Riviera…who knows? A girl can dream.

Outfit: Shona Joy Jumpsuit (similar here, here and here), Country Road heels (similar here).
